My love affair with Paris began since I was in high school when I took French in class 8th. May seem a long time back for some of you but to me it seems like yesterday. On the autograph books in school I used to answer the question what's your dream as: kissing my man in front of the Eiffel Tower. Years passed from school to high school and then college and work and life went by but I held on to my dream.   When I moved out of India to UK I had the option to travel to Paris as my first destination but I chose not. You know why? Because I wanted it to be special, so I thought I'd ride to Paris. Being a travel lover I was deciding on which should be the next country to explore. My boyfriend mentioned Italy to me and I instantly said Italy it is! We spent the first few days of our vacation in Rome and visited the famous Trevi fountain on Day 1 followed by the Colosseum. Day 2 was spent at the Vatican City which is actually known as the smallest country in the world. The Vatican Museum is incredibly rich in history and reflects rich ancient art and culture. My favourite part however was the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica of St. Peter. The Vatican City looks even more beautiful during the night with all the lights on, and the energy around the place is full of positive vibes making everything so serene. While in Rome though not part of our plan, we accidentally came across the Spanish Square and the Spanish steps which we got to know are the widest steps in Europe. London is beautiful in the winter especially in the month of December with streets lit up all over and Christmas tress put up at most places. One of the main attractions in London during the winter is definitely Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park and I am so glad I got to experience it. Winter Wonderland is a land of its kind and true to its name it does hold us in wonder. I had the company of my boyfriend and friends who helped make it a all the more fun experience. Once inside, you will be confused about what to look at as there is so much to explore. We were like a bunch of excited kids in there pointing to various lights and attractions while in there. The aromas of mulled wine and smoked German sausages filled the air. We did immensely enjoy them included hot Churros drenched in Nutella am still drooling over them.                                     Another dream came true ‘watching Enrique Iglesias live’.  I’ve been a huge Enrique fan since I was a teenager. Anytime I heard one of his songs playing, I would pause everything I was doing and just listen to the song with my eyes closed. His song Hero made me believe in love. It made me realize that love is the ultimate feeling in the world and I had decided then that someday I would to watch Enrique perform Live. I did mention about this to a few people who laughed it off and said you are mad but I strongly believed this would be possible didn’t know how but that didn’t matter.
